This year's Mid Herts Night Hike and Nightjar Competition took place on the night of Saturday 27th March 2010. This is the Scouts' Night Hike event
District Scouts Cooking Competition 2010
This years competition took place on Sunday 7th February 2010 at 8th Letchworth Scouts HQ
Red Nose Day
We raised over £200 for the red Nose Day Appeal!
Second Baldock Scouts spent an hour and a half in a sponsored silence whilst building a cardboard city to sleep in overnight at their hut. Some scouts also made cakes to sell.
This all went towards the Creative and Community Challenges.
They were sent home after a breakfast and after a good clearing up session!

Letchworth and Baldock District Scouts 'Walk the Walk'
Last Night (Saturday 7/3/09) Scouts and Guides from all over the county took part in the annual Mid Herts Night Hike (MHNH). The District entered 9 teams from 1st Ashwell, 5th, 7th, 8th and 12th Letchworth. These teams also compete for our District's Night Jar trophies which are awarded within this event.
